Mayin Connects
Values & Culture
January 2026 | Bombay Chambers of Commerce, Mumbai

Every organisation evolves its values and culture in its own way. This edition of Mayin Connects brought together HR and business leaders, entrepreneurs, and founders to reflect on how values and culture develop as organisations grow and mature.
The keynote by Axelle Defrasne highlighted how values form the underlying operating logic of an organisation—shaped by leadership mindsets, expressed through both stated and lived values, and reflected in everyday decisions and behaviours.
The panel—Alok Sheopurkar (PCC), Atul Gosar, Supei Liu, and Abhijat Sanghvi, moderated by Malini Nair—shared practical perspectives on the challenges organisations face while scaling. The discussion explored how leaders preserve core values during growth, navigate leadership transitions, and recognise the role of lived experiences in shaping culture over time.
A key highlight was the launch of the Values in Action™ . The assessment addresses an important gap in how values are understood and assessed—shifting the focus from perception to more objective, context-based insights.
These conversations reinforced that culture is not built through statements, but through everyday moments, choices, and behaviours.
